Why the name Branch + Willow?
Well, let's start with the "willow" part. One of my most favorite and special gifts I have every received was from my sweet husband; prior to us tying the knot over 20 years ago. He knew that I had a favorite tree, which I admired every day on my way to and from work. So, one day he stopped, parked his VW Beetle along the busy road, dodged traffic to get to the side of the road the tree was on, took a picture of that tree, framed it in a cute little frame shaped like a tree, and gave it to me as a surprise. Yup, I bet you guessed that my favorite tree was a willow tree... and OH MY, was it a beauty! And did I cry when he gave me the framed photo? You bet I did! So that is the reason for the "willow" in my business name. The "branch" part is because I am branching out into a scary and thrilling new adventure with this business at the age of 51. It's never too late to go after your dreams!
