Be My Valentine

This Valentine's Day cutie was created by me during one of my wild creative streaks and is an ode to loving someone so much that you shout it from the rooftops while dancing around with no other cares on the world. She is definitely smitten!

I handcrafted her with vintage finds, love, and attention to each and every detail:

• Made in Japan cotton spun head.
• Vintage 10 cent ribbon spool - beautifully worn.
• Vintage button.
• Vintage rick rack and ribbon.
• Vintage Be My Valentine cupcake pick and heart cake decoration.
• Vintage pipe cleaners for arms and legs.
• Vintage Christmas ornament.
• ... except for her skirt. It is cleverly crafted from a super sweet cupcake liner. 

*Crafting with vintage finds means that each item I choose as part of the final creation has a wonderful patina that adds to the charm and uniqueness of the final piece of art. So much better than mass produced boring stuff.
